The Gables Estate is the perfect venue. With its enchanting and historic Victorian mansion, surrounded by Redwoods and Wine Country views, there’s nothing more romantic and serene as the timeless atmosphere of The Gables. Built in 1877 by a successful cattle rancher, the mansion was constructed with Gothic-Revival architecture and Victorian-style interior. all from the success of a rags-to-riches family. The closest building to the mansion during the time was the Rancho Petaluma Adobe, 13 miles away, which was built in 1836. High ceilings, wide-moldings, and keyhole doorways and windows make up the mansion, overall demonstrating some of the highest quality craftsmanship of its time. Even today, nothing can compare to the quality of The Gables Estate. Placed on the National Register, this mansion was built to last, thus bestowing the same good fortune to all who wed here.

This location is already fit to host a small ceremony, accommodating everyone spaciously and comfortably. There are several different options for the elopement: underneath tall Redwood trees in the backyard of the mansion, inside the barn where owls overlook the ceremony, in the vineyard adjacent to the house, and much more! The feeling of the space here is relaxed, intimate, and personal.

The most important question you will ever ask is, “Will you marry me?” Imagine asking that question in a vineyard, under towering redwoods or maybe inside a 150 year old barn with a wise old owl. We will assist you in selecting the perfect setting at our lovely Sonoma County estate. When you arrive, you will find a table with two chairs, a bottle of sparkling wine, and fresh cut flowers.

The Engagement Package includes a private proposal location, flowers, and sparkling wine. Afterward, we’ll provide a cheese and charcuterie plate to enjoy with the wine while you bask in this special day. Allow us to assist you in designing this special moment, an experience tailored especially for you and your partner.

There is nothing more romantic than a wine country wedding. The Gables Wine Country Inn has partnered with some of Sonoma County’s most sought after vendors to offer a simple, elegant marriage celebration. This requires a complete buy-out of the Inn, which is 7 additional guests rooms.

$10,000, plus 7 guests rooms

A 2 night minimum whole inn buyout is required that includes all 8 rooms and our 3-course breakfast each morning. Guests can book the rooms separately, but the wedding couple is responsible for any rooms not occupied. The rate is $300.00 per room per night plus tax. The Cottage serves as the Bridal Suite. For optional enhancements like dinner in the vineyard, wine, or flowers, please contact us. Includes use of our barn and grounds for the pictures, ceremony, and reception. Breakfast is included each day for guests of inn. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for the package and a 1-night deposit is required for guest rooms. The balance and all rooms will be charged 30 days prior to the event. Cancellation up to 30 days prior to the date of the event.
